Texans are a proud family of values and morals; therefore, their government should reflect the same.
I pray that Texas will continue to be a beacon of hope and prosperity to the rest of the nation. It will take all of us to make this reality, stay the reality. Help us keep Texas as the foundation of integrity for the rest of the country to look up to.
Prior to answering the call to pastor in June of 2002, U.S. Navy veteran Pastor Frank Pomeroy’s professional career in design, implementation and management in the motor controls industry, culminated in attaining the role of South Texas Regional Director of a fortune 500 company. He has a degree in biological anthropology, which he uses to present God’s word through a theological worldview in academic circles that would not debate on a theological level.
He is the longtime senior pastor at First Baptist Church Sutherland Springs, ministering to the church and community through, and after, the tragedy of November 5, 2017, that claimed the lives of 26, including his 14-year old daughter and many leaders of the church.
Pastor Frank and his wife of 33 years, Sherri, have raised four biological children, two adopted children and several more that came through their home in need of love and a place to stay. The Pomeroys have six grandchildren who are the light of their lives.
When not at the church, Pastor Frank enjoys spending time with his family, serving his community, going camping, doing anything outdoors, and riding his motorcycle.
